Diabetic Friendly Banana Pudding

Banana Pudding!

  • 4 bananas
  • 1 six serving size sugar free instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 cups cold fat free milk
  • 1 12 oz carton light whipped topping
  • 1 8oz carton low fat sour cream
  • 1 box regular or light vanilla wafers

Slice bananas.

Mix pudding with milk using wire whisk.

Fold in low fat sour cream and about 3/4 of light whipped topping. (Reserve remaining 1/4 for topping.)
Layer vanilla wafers in bottom and up sides of a glass bowl.

Spread with half of pudding mixture.

Add 2 sliced bananas and a single layer of wafers.

Spread remaining pudding mixture making sure you spread it to the edges to seal.

Add slices from remaining bananas.

Add another layer of wafers and top with remaining whipped topping.

Reserve a couple of banana slices dipped in lemon juice for decoration, or sprinkle with vanilla wafer crumbs.

Chill and serve

Are you a Mountain Dew addict? Then know what you’re drinking! BVO is a toxic chemical that is banned in many countries because it competes with iodine for receptor sites in the body, which can lead to hypothyroidism, autoimmune disease, and cancer. The main ingredient, bromine, is a poisonous, corrosive chemical, linked to major organ system damage, birth defects, growth problems, schizophrenia, and hearing loss.

“There’s flame retardant in your Mountain Dew. That soda with the lime-green hue (and other citrus-flavored bubbly pops) won’t keep your insides fireproof, but it does contain brominated vegetable oil, a patented flame retardant for plastics that has been banned in foods throughout Europe and in Japan.

Brominated vegetable oil, or BVO, which acts as an emulsifier in citrus-flavored soda drinks, is found in about 10 percent of sodas sold in the U.S.

“After a few extreme soda binges — not too far from what many gamers regularly consume – a few patients have needed medical attention for skin lesions, memory loss and nerve disorders, all symptoms of overexposure to bromine,” according to a recent article in Environmental News.”

“FRIED” HONEY BANANAS♥

Great dessert without the guilt!

Serves 1

  • 1 slightly under-ripened banana, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Cinnamon
  • Coconut oil
  1. Lightly drizzle oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Arrange banana slices in pan and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  3. Meanwhile, whisk together honey and 1 tablespoon of water.
  4. Remove pan from heat and pour honey mixture over banana.
  5. Allow to cool and sprinkle with cinnamon.

  • 5 boneless skinless breasts
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt -plain
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Spread mixture over chicken breasts, bake at 375 degrees for 45 mins–Absolutely Delish!
