Low carb by only sprinkling with panko bread crumbs lightly on top or substituting Parmesan or Romano on top and adding more cheese
WHO DOESN’T LOVE A MODIFICATION WITH MORE CHEESE?!!!
- 3 Large Tomatoes – sliced in half
- 1/8 cup of Panko Bread Crumbs just a sprinkle
- 1 tsp of minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp of parsley or Italian seasoning
- Parmesan and mozzeralls shredded mixed together to liking for low carb,
Heat grill to medium heat.
Spray an Aluminum foil pack or pan with cooking spray. Add,Sliced tomatoes and season with salt & pepper.
In a small bowl, mix the remaining ingredients garlic, parsley and cheese). Sprinkle over tomatoes making a tiny mound. Top with bread crumbs OR Just more Parmesan/ Romano grated cheese
Turn grill down to low.
Place tomatoes on grill and cook until bread crumbs turn brown.
Be careful it happens fast!
